For 2008, one of the LASHIPA fieldwork sites was Bear Island which is located in the middle of the Barents Sea. During August, Gustav Rossnes (The National Board of Antiquities, Norway) and me (Arctic Centre, Netherlands)spent three weeks here mapping cultural heritage sites.
